The renderings are excellent. The garage meets the needs. The living room / great room are very spacious.
Thank you for your submission, a very interesting and unique answer to the design challenge. Whilst we like the general concept and idea, the design is not buildable as it significantly increases the covered space / area and therefore violates planning restrictions. Moreover, we favor a more modern, Bauhaus oriented design style.
The great room is terrific. Closing off the outdoor room with barn doors is a unique idea. Orientation east west would be better from a passive energy stand point.
A lot I like about this, but the plans are hard to read. Enclosed courtyard would end up being shadier than we want. The main living space is not oriented to take advantage of the SE view—the bedrooms get that view. This was one of our core criteria. Aesthetic is more modern/minimal than we'd like, as stated in the RFP.
Very nicely done, in general. Nice to see another from Arc177, we appreciated their submission to the RMO contest. + paid attention to the RFP + worked with the topography and the RMO proposal + like the "yoga deck" concept + aesthetic is pleasing and I think there's a lot we could work with here, in general - too big of a structure without enough greenhouse - too much structure, it feels like it overwhelms the house
Very interesting. I like the idea but 1) I'm not sure it's practical to build and 2) I would prefer shading over the large main windows.
It is difficult to assess the floor plan of the design with the materials that have been submitted so far. I am excited to see more.
