The design was carried out in two phases taking to mind Aesthetics! Aesthetics!! Aesthetics!!!
To achieve the required result, certain materials were incorporated. Materials like perforated corten steel and distressed wood were used to improve on the façade of the structure.
The first phase was done using perforated corten to improve the façade as shown in the attached picture files. In ‘Option 1’, the sky blue comb around the structures would be removed so as to make way for the remodelling. The distressed wood (Dark Grey) would be cut and placed accordingly while the corten steel would be prefabricated and the holed drilled to fit the design. The existing silver base skirting, the sky blue rods and window frames would be scraped coloured ‘charcoal black’. Doing this, the desired result was achieved.
For the second phase, although the blue combs would be eliminated, the window frame and rods colour would be kept. The base skirting would be coloured sky blue to match the window frame. To boost the façade, steel corten would be prefabricated according to design and placed to achieve the desired result as shown in the attached picture files. Dark grey wood planks were used on the base of the coffee shop at the top of the washroom. This gives the design a sense of balance.
Doing this I believe I have achieved the desired requirements for this project and I hope you like and enjoyed reviewing my work.
