We would like to remodel 1/2 of our garage. We think that it probably makes sense to keep the half farthest from the house for the car - but we are flexible. We are planning on removing the cabinets that are currently against the wall.
We would like to create a bathroom, a small office and a small bedroom. Our initial thoughts, are that the bathroom should be to the right of the washer and dryer and we would like the bathroom to have the window that is above the sink. It does not need a bathtub (it only needs a shower), and a single sink is fine. We are thinking that the office should be closest to current opening of the garage door (where the car goes in) - where we think a window should be. We also think that there should be glass french doors that separate the bedroom from the office - so that the bedroom has light - particularly when we are not using the office. We think there should be some way of arranging the design, so there are separate entrances for the office and the bedroom. We are open to potentially creating a door from the livingroom to the office and then using the current door to the garage for the bedroom/bathroom. We are also open to creating a "hallway" in the garage so that you don't have to walk through the bedroom to get to the office - even though you could because of the french doors.
