My first concern was to answer to the demand of more stowage space, and this objective made me use the window wall to accomodate a new closet that occupies all the wall except the window.
This new closet has to be made for this specific space, so it's not possible to buy it in a store, but in my opinion this closet can be the piece that makes this bedroom unique, because is not only a simple closet. It tries to solve the stowage problem, with 2 full closet, plus the drawer unit under the window, and at the same time it frames the window on a very dinamic way to make it possible for the light to get inside and spread all over the room.
The idea of the mirror in the oblique plan makes possible for the light that comes from the window to go further in the left hand side of the room, because the mirror will project this light deeper inside.
The bed that I took from this webite (http://www.modloft.com/product.cfm?id=MD316-Q-WAL&name=Monroe%20Queen%20Bed) has two backrest pillows which is perfect considering that the owners spend some time reading and at the computer, so in my point of view it will be very confortable with this kind of bed.
My idea for the lighting of the room considered to points:
1- the regular use of the room;
2- the use when reading or at the computer.
Considering this 2 points, my option was to insert a suspended ceiling which accomodates both spot lights for the 2 places in the bed, and difuse light hidden in this ceiling that makes possible to have a nice and smooth light.
The wall where the heater is has a new chillout area with a beanbag sofa, with 2 spot lights in the ceiling above it, and with some small boxes on the wall that can accomodate books, CD's, magazzines, etc.
Hope you like the ideas, and be free to contact me about it. Specialy if you need more details about the proposal.
